This gorgeous rose is formed from modelling wax and then cast in sterling silver with a round Whiskey Quartz stone set in the centre. The open leaf bail is sterling silver. Prairie roses may be the simplest form of the flower but they have the most beautiful scent. Wild roses are a favourite.

Forged copper leaves with a green patina; wax formed, bright copper cast flowers with fresh water pearl bases; and a hand forged, argentum silver branch connecting it all together make up this gorgeous art piece. Reminiscent of flowering trees in the spring, it’s sure to make a statement wherever it’s worn.

This torque is made from hand forged, fire-painted copper leaves; copper gumnuts shaped from modelling wax and set with glass pearls inside; finished off with a hand forged, argentum silver stem forming the neck of the piece. Truly a work of art.

This ring was made using the traditional Japanese technique of Mitsuro Hikime. The wax is softened and then stretched to create beautiful striations that were then formed into this ring and cast in sterling silver. The piece is then hand burnished to show off the depth of the striations turning a old art form into a new masterpiece.

This pendant was formed using the ancient Japanese art of Mitsuro Hikime. Wax was warmed and pulled into shape, creating the beautiful striations you see. It was then cast in sterling silver. The striations of Mitsuro always remind me of long ago summertimes and picking long blades of grass to use as whistles between my fingers.

A passion project inspired by one of my favourite books, this collar is made of fine silver wire and sterling silver chenier set with emerald green cubic zirconia. The wire is formed into leafy tendrils that form heart shapes that delicately dance along the collar bone. A new age art nouveau masterpiece.

This acorn was carved in wax and cast in sterling silver. Growing up in the North of America, there were lots of oak trees. And I love oak trees. I imagine this acorn represents me – the seed of an oak from the north. But I’ve since moved to Brisbane and love this area too, but no oak trees. There are, however, lots and lots of Eucalypts. So while I may feel like an acorn at my root… inside, there’s a little gum tree just under the surface.

Springtime flowers bring fields of trilliums down by the river banks. This particular trillium flower was formed in wax and cast in sterling silver. There is a brilliant blue topaz trillion set in the centre.
